So, exciting news, people - I started college last month! I'm studying computer science. Love it so far, we're in a tiny group of about 15-40 people (depending on how interesting that particular class is... :P). Instead of boring theory, we get to sit in computer classes a lot and just program away. It's awesome.
But, there is a small side effect... I am SURROUNDED by geeks. There's no escape. My friends are obsessed with TCG games and they hold entire conversations in Java. They even got me to play Dungeons and Dragons with them! Someone save me.
And as if that weren't enough, my best friend Elizabeth dragged me along to a science fiction convention last weekend. Yes, an actual science fiction convention, complete with people walking around in Star Wars costumes.
It was the most geekiest thing I have ever experienced, but, I gotta say, it was totally fun. :D
